Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. The WH1A-S is a screw in heating element that is 1250w at 120a designed to quickly and efficiently heat the water via electricity in a Raritan water heater.
These elements must be installed, and the tank filled prior to applying any power or they will burn out. Raritan does offer an element that can last a bit longer if power is applied without water in the tank.
