At Egret Marine, we strive to make your checkout process secure, simple, and transparent. This policy outlines our accepted payment methods, billing procedures, and related terms.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment options at checkout:

  • Major Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
  • Shop Pay (including Shop Pay Installments where available).
  • PayPal (subject to availability and verification).
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay (for supported devices and browsers).
  • Gift Cards issued by Egret Marine.

We do not accept checks, money orders, wire transfers, or cash payments for online orders.

Secure Payments

All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. We use industry-leading security measures to protect your data.

Billing and Authorization

  • Your card or payment method is authorized for the full order amount (including taxes, shipping, and any applicable fees) at the time of purchase.
  • Recurring or subscription purchases (if offered) will be clearly disclosed at checkout. By completing such a purchase, you authorize us to charge your payment method according to the agreed schedule.

Pricing and Currency

  • All prices are in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time your order is placed will be the price charged.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing or typographical errors and to cancel any orders placed at an incorrect price.

Sales Tax

Egret Marine collects and remits sales tax on orders shipped to addresses in states where we have a tax collection obligation. Tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable local rates.

Order Confirmation and Invoices

  • You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after placement.
  • A detailed receipt/invoice will be emailed once your order ships.
  • For business or tax purposes, please retain your confirmation and shipping emails.

Payment Declines and Issues

If your payment is declined, we recommend contacting your bank or card issuer. Common reasons include insufficient funds, expired cards, or security holds. You may update your payment information in your account or by contacting customer support.

Refunds and Chargebacks

Refunds (when eligible) are issued to the original payment method. Please refer to our Refund & Return Policy for timelines and conditions. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in account suspension and denial of future orders.

Fraud Prevention

We use advanced fraud detection tools. Orders flagged for potential fraud may be reviewed manually and could be canceled. If your order is canceled for this reason, you will be notified, and any charges will be reversed.

International Orders

We currently ship only within the contiguous United States. International customers should not place orders expecting U.S. domestic processing. Shipping Policy
