Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. Fuego LT 5000 Spinning Reel
Fuego LT has a ZAION V carbon-fiber body, not the nylon-based plastic in other manufacturers’ reels at this price point. The new Fuego stands alone in the marketplace at this price. You also get some weight reduction (3%–5%) as a result of this material design change.
Fuego also uses an Airdrive rotor, which reduces quite a bit of weight. Daiwa also incorporated a solid Airdrive bail versus a tubular design. The reason for that is that the metal Daiwa uses is very strong, rigid, and doesn’t bend—yet it’s thinner and lighter. The goal was to reduce the weight of the rotation, which reduces the weight of the reel as well. It also makes it easier to turn the handle.
