Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. The IC-GM1600 Marine VHF handheld is designed for GMDSS-compliant survival craft communications. The IC-GM1600 meets temperature, thermal shock, vibration, and drop resistant (from 1 m height) requirements. After passing those environmental tests, the IC-GM1600 sustains 1m depth waterproof construction specified with IMO resolutions A.809(19), A.694(17), and IEC 61097-12. The BP-234 battery can operate even at –4 degrees F.
Easy Operation
All knobs are sized for quick operation and the large, well-labeled buttons feature a positive action “feel” with a programmable beep tone for sure operation. The front panel includes one-touch access to Channel 16 and the call channel.
