Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. NS-12-20 StartGuard
The abrupt DC system voltage drop that accompanies engine starting can cause micro-processor-driven electronics aboard vehicles or vessels to "dump" programmed memory. StartGuard solves these problems by providing supplemental power to sensitive electronics while the engines are cranking. Newmar's NS-12-20 StartGuard supplies backup power for electronics during engine start.
Mounting
Mount the StartGuard in any convenient location, such as under the dash or console, using the four mounting screws provided or #10 bolts.
Wiring
Input from the power source to the electronics must be routed through the StartGuard.
