Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. PX-2 Junction Box

This waterproof junction box is ideal for making wiring connections above or below decks, even in areas subject to occasional spray.

Connector Strips Installed in Boxes

Molded nylon encases pairs of connectors that use screw compression to secure wires without the use of lugs. Ideal for electronic installations. Brass barrels capture wires and are held in place with a stainless steel “finger” compressed by a screw. The screw does not make contact with the wires, protecting the copper strands from cuts and breakage and meeting ABYC standards.

  • Similar to BX Series junction boxes but made from rugged, non-corrosive, high-impact polypropylene
  • The snap-on cover provides a watertight seal
  • “Universal” cut-to-fit graduated diameter cable entries accommodate a wide cable range
  • Multiple position connector strips with “captive” screw compression wire terminals installed, see matrix below for connector strip specifications per box
  • Multiple knockouts are provided for conduit access (in addition to cable entries)
  • IEC Waterproof Rating: IP55 – “Water projected in jets against the enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects.”
