Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. For the DiTEC Heavy Cut Compound, we recommend using the DiTEC Yellow Trapez Foam polishing pad. For paint with heavy oxidation or scratches the Gray Microfiber Pad (165 mm) is recommended. For paint with even heavier oxidation or scratches the White Microfiber Pad (155 mm) is recommended.
Application: Apply a sufficient amount of the polishing compound to the polishing pad or to the painted surface. Spread evenly over the defect at a low speed (approx. 1000 rpm), speed to approx. 1800 rpm. Increase and polish off the flaw using light pressure.
