Returns are accepted within 30 days after shipment. To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging, and proof of purchase is required. The following items are not eligible for return: Installed or used products, clearance or final-sale items, trolling motors, programmed AIS units, KVH Starlink products that are registered or opened, special-order products, or products displaying the notice “This product may not be returned to the original point of purchase. Please contact the manufacturer directly with any issues or concerns.” in their description. Opened or unsealed DVDs, CDs, or cartography (unless defective) are not eligible for return. The 714-140A-DVSR uses a dual sensing DVSR (710-140A). This system ensures that you will always have a fully charged reserve battery. When the switch is in position one, battery one becomes the sensing battery for the VSR. Battery two, which is in isolation, is charged through the VSR when the engine is running to ensure that it is always fully charged. When the switch is in position two, battery two becomes the sensing battery and battery one is charged through the VSR. The fact that there is always a fully charged battery in reserve is a huge safety benefit.
