Shyft Spinning Reel 2500 5.2:1
The 13 Fishing Shyft Spinning Reel gives anglers smooth line control, steady drag pressure, and a solid feel for bass, walleye, trout, panfish, and light inshore fishing. Its 8 stainless steel ball bearings plus 1AR bearing keep retrieves clean when fishing drop shots, ned rigs, jigs, swimbaits, live bait rigs, and finesse plastics, while the 5.2:1 gear ratio gives anglers controlled pickup for working baits through current, cover, and open water. CNC Z-cast gearing and a hardened brass pinion provide dependable gear engagement, and the cast iron carbon frame, rotor, and handle help keep the reel rigid under load.
A high-performance fiber drag with treated aluminum washers helps manage runs from hard-fighting fish, while the ceramic line roller and one-piece bail arm support smooth line flow during repeated casts. The hardened aluminum main shaft adds strength through hooksets and retrieves, and the soft-touch rubber knob gives anglers a comfortable grip for long days on the water. Finished with a ported two-tone aluminum spool, the Shyft delivers capable spinning reel performance for freshwater and light inshore setups.
